Investing into projects which are socially responsible

Trustees have set aside a social investment fund. This enables us to invest in enterprises which are socially responsible. They are different from grants in that the money invested is our capital, and we expect there will be some financial return on the investment.

For this reason the Trust has established a Social Investment Group (SIG) with the necessary financial management skills & experience to ensure the fund is invested wisely, balancing both financial and social return on the investment. The SIG is working with a number of experienced social investment agencies to source suitable investment opportunities. If you are aware of a social enterprise looking for investment in the field of education, relief of poverty and hardship or recreation with a social welfare purpose, why not contact us?
