Have a go with Harpur 2019
Join us on Sunday 19th May 2019 between 11am and 4pm at Bedford Park for a fun-filled and FREE family day.
Once again, we are delighted to be hosting our Have a go with Harpur event. We are providing a climbing wall, zorbs (human hamster balls), a mobile potholing cave, a penalty shoot out, and archery - all of which are completely free to use (although please be aware that these will be popular so be prepared to queue!). Our stage will showcase performances and workshops by local groups and clubs throughout the day.
And we have an array of exhibitors lined up to offer have a go sessions including bowling, cycling, yoga, pottery, parcours, rugby, arts and crafts, singing, lace making, virtual rowing, circus activities, forest activities, wellbeing activities, and theatre skills.
We will also have a host of providers offering advice and support on issues from health and fitness (SmartFit gym will be there to give you a free health assessment), to how you can help in the effort to reduce homelessness in the town.

We are providing FREE parking at our offices at the Pilgrim Centre on Brickhill Drive. We have space for 400 cars with easy walking access through to the park.
In addition to refreshments at the Pavilion, and the resident Ice Cream van, we have sourced some excellent and tried and tested caterers offering good quality, reasonably priced food courtesy of:
