Covid 19/Coronavirus – Reassurance for our Grantees

We know that everyone in Bedford’s voluntary sector and statutory services is working as hard as they can to ensure our community gets through these uncertain times. We are grateful for the strength of our community and the dedication of the many individuals and organisations who put their all into making this a great place to live and work.

We want to reassure the organisations we fund that we understand things may change for you in the weeks or months to come and we want to be as flexible as possible to enable you to focus on your vital work supporting the most vulnerable people in our community.

If your work is affected by staff and volunteer absence, if events and meetings have to be cancelled or postponed or if services have to be delivered in a different way, we are committed to supporting you. Just let us know if you need to adapt your work, change dates, vary your budget to cope with emergencies or just want to chat about the problems you are experiencing.

Bedfordshire Coronavirus Emergency Fund

We are delighted to have partnered with Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation and other local funders to create an emergency fund for grants of up to £7,500 to allocate money as quickly as possible. Please click here for details.
