Our Schools

We know that choosing the right school for your child is an important decision.

Our Schools

That’s why we ensure our four independent schools offer outstanding educational opportunities, led by dedicated and specialist staff who will inspire, challenge and encourage your child to be a successful individual with a passion for learning, both in and out of the classroom.

Our schools are renowned for their educational opportunities and we are proud of their impressive track records. You can discover more about each of our schools on their websites, but nothing beats exploring the opportunities, atmosphere and facilities in person.

So why not come and discover how a Harpur Trust school can inspire your child at one of our school open days; you’ll be surprised what we can offer.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Our History

SIR WILLIAM HARPUR’S VISION

The Harpur Trust was founded over 450 years ago by Sir William Harpur, a local man born to humble beginnings who made his fortune as a merchant tailor and became Lord Mayor of London in 1561.

Today our activities are still inspired by Sir William Harpur’s vision. He understood the value of education, and he saw what needed to be addressed to support the people in his hometown of Bedford.
